The second case is of Jibhiyanv village of Lalganj police station, where the electricity department handed over a bill of 82 thousand to a person named Hasanraja, after which the consumer was shocked. Three months ago, the consumer had an argument with the meter reader, at that time 799 rupees were outstanding, which was paid in the month of April. After which the electricity bill became 00. After the argument with the meter reader, the consumer’s electricity bill increased to 82 thousand from April to August. The victim has lodged a complaint in the Superintending Engineer’s office.

The Chief Engineer said that in the first case, the connection of Divyang Ram Fer of village Sisai Babu was found in 1994. In 2016, Ram Fer had a pending bill of 75 thousand, which has now increased to 1.80 lakh. Regarding the second case, he said that a case of store reading has come to light at Hasan Raza’s place in Jibhiyav village. The bill has become 82 thousand due to store reading. He said that strict action will be taken against the meter reader due to whom store reading has been done here.
